How to get your Instagram file
- Instagram, your profile, the menu, then Accounts Center.
- Your information and permissions, then Download your information.
- Choose Some of your information and tick Saved.
- Pick Download to device, format JSON, date range All time.
- Instagram emails a link, usually within a few hours. Download the .zip and drop it above.
How to get your TikTok file
- TikTok, your profile, the menu, then Settings and privacy.
- Account, then Download your data.
- Choose JSON and request it. It can take a few days.
- Download it from the same screen and drop it above.
Get YaadGar for Android
- Tap download and open the file when it finishes.
- If your phone asks, allow your browser to install apps.
- Tap Install, then open YaadGar and share any reel to it.

Is it free?
Saving, shelves, search and the web finder are free. AI sorting comes with a free trial, then a small paid add-on if you want to keep using it.
Does YaadGar log in to my Instagram?
No. You share reels to YaadGar, or import the file Instagram gives you. We never ask for your Instagram password.
Where is my data stored?
On your phone. The web finder reads your file inside your browser tab and sends nothing. AI sorting sends a link and its public caption to our server to work out the shelf, and we don't keep that content.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Join the list above and we'll tell you when it's ready.
Who makes YaadGar?
An independent developer in India, building in the open. "Yaad" means memory in Hindi and Urdu.
